Legacy Honorees
Fred and Elizabeth Wiese

For decades, Fred and Elizabeth Wiese have tirelessly advocated for and funded essential JDRF research that will ensure long and healthy lives for children with T1D—that has helped put us on a path toward a cure. Treatment advances made possible by the Wieses’ legacy of giving impart the priceless gift of time, which will allow these children to chase their dreams and achieve promising futures.

"We deeply mourn the passing of Elizabeth Wiese on May 1, 2020. She was an amazing woman and passionate supporter of JDRF. Our thoughts are with her family at this time."
